Christmas Chameleon

Hi everyone. I have a male veiled, about 1 year old. He lives in a ficus tree, and is generally a "free range" chameleon. My 15 year old daughter wants to decorate the ficus tree instead of our regular tree. My question is, what is everyone's thoughts on this? I am concerned that lights and decorations might stress the critter out too much...

Lights would not only stress him out, but he could potentially be burned, shocked, or get tangled in it. And what about misting? The lights don't mix with water. Ornaments would be way too scary, and tinsel can be ingested. My recommendation is no.

angle wolf is right unless you put on those big plain red ornaments without glitter a christmas veiled cham tree would be a definite no

I’ve decorated my Chams trees before. They didn’t seem to mind.
