Hey Guys I got a great Picture of Chronic, but I'm really confused. I'm not sure if he's a Red Bar Ambilobe or a Blue Bar. In the picture he looks like a blue bar. But his father is Sirius from Screamelons and on their site they say "Sirius displays intense red & blue bars on a bright yellow and green background." Anyway here are the pics:

You wont start seeing colors like that for awhile it could take up to 2 full years of age to get completely colored. I would say you will start seeing some more colors around 10 months or so but he wont look anything like Sirius until prob about 1.5 years. Dotn worry though hell be great

I wouldn't quite say 2 years, the longest it should take is 18months, i only say that because in the wild they usually only live for 18months. Since that is how long they normally live for there genes would be set up for maximum coloration before they die obviously.

To the OP:
In my experience of raising ambilobe's they start showing colors at 6 to 7 months, i mean the really pronounced colors, and they get more vibrant as time goes on. Once he hits 9 or 10 month flash a female to him and hell show you some amazing colors guaranteed!
