Clea laid!

I normally leave a gap in eggs so I can pinch the vermiculite to see how much water it is still holding. Then again I don't get 40+ eggs.. hehe.

Same here:p What type of container do you have them in? It looks like a storage bin type? Those type of snap on lids will allow lots of extra air inside drying it out even quicker. You still have time to transfer them into more of an air tight container like something you store food in. Or you can just get a piece of ceranwrap and put it over the container and a rubber band around it to hold it in place. Poke a small pin hole in the container. This is what I do so I dont have to open the container everytime I want to peek at the eggs. Just make sure there are no wrinkles when it over laps the side to ensure the tightest fit possible.

And regarding the babies if they do hatch and you are in school. As I told you before if you have time to take care of them before and after they will do fine. If humidity levels are good watering them 2 or 3 times a day will be fine. With the humidity it will let the water sit around for a bit longer giving your guys more of an opportunity to drink when they want. Of course you want to have the enclosure dry out between mistings.

Interesting. I have them in food storage bin

thats awesome im so happy your worry is over!!!! now lets hope for at least a 95% hatch with no problems!!!!!!!!!

I believe you should rethink that idea.

why is that???? all my chams are fine my financial situation is fine now other than your opinion i can see no reason why not...not to mention it would be awhile before i got the pair to begin with. so please elaborate syn on why you think i should rethink that idea.....

It's been explained numerous times, you just aren't listening. There is no point in arguing with you.

Youd be getting a m/f for nothing, you cant breed them or anything.....

I've felt that way...not with you Courtney.

i have 2 unrelated f and 2 unrelated m..... and unlike some people my first goal isnt the breeding part see i was right alot of people are just into the breeding part..we just like chams is that so hard to beleave and im sure julirs knows that sometimes it may be difficult to find home for large clutches and if these hatc there willmost likely be another clutch along in the future. cleas babies deserve good homes with as many of us as possible

I hope your not talking about me, theres at least one person in this thread that applies to..

Whats wrong with breeding ? Did I miss something?

I bought over 25 chameleons in my first year of doing this, its not a bad thing to want another chameleon. Syn you know all about getting grief. Give a girl a break!

Clea's babies do deserve good homes! Whats with all the bickering lately? The won't hatch for 7-9 months and wont be ready until at least two months after that.

Plenty of time to think about it.

Come on lets at least try to be civil .
