Clean Cut Blown Bulb?

So I come home this evening to find this.. Its a new bulb and its been fine for 4 days now. Came home to a dark cage and was like wtf? Come to find out the bulb broke. The thing that confuses me is that its a clean break. Has anyone dealt with this before!

I'm guessing the mister spray hit it and it popped. It's either that or condensation around the metal same result.

I was thinking that but its odd that it was such a clean break and no glass anywhere..

I dunno I had a heck of a time with my double dome... I actually stopped using it all together. One of the sides the bulb would not actually like screw in correctly and I almost broke a bulb off into my hand trying to get one out.. I never over tighten my bulbs either. Just funky...

Yeah can't say I have had this problem with my 50w or 100w exo terras. My guess just a bad bulb, bad dome, or it got wet like @JacksJill said.

U can try use a half cut potatoe and force onto the broken bulb thread n try unscrew it back out of the socket.
Lube a bit of petroleum jelly onto the thread prior u put another bulb in.
