Cleaning the cage

I clean my reptibreeze XL enclosure once a week.

When I clean the cage I remove all plants and accessories and wipe them down and remove any extra feeders.

I wipe down the bottom tray and make sure there is no poop or urates left.

I use warm tap water and paper towels.

I have another outside ficus tree that I put my chameleon in whilst I'm cleaning.

Hope this helps!

I do spot cleaning every week (pick up poop, dead leaves, wipe down the bottom, scrub the water buckets, etc) and deep cleaning once a month where I use a disinfectant on hard surfaces and steam clean branches and porous climbing surfaces. I'll wipe off leaves with a light vinegar rinse, too, if I find poop on them.

It's not too much work, honestly. It's way more work keeping the bugs fed and clean
