I was wondering if anyone would know why my chams cloaca
appears to be swollen. No change in color, eating the same and drinking water. I have no idea as I am a rookie at this.
Thanks in advance for your help

Kinyonga,
I took your advise and went to the vet with Ms. Creecher. The vet reported that she though Ms. Creecher was in very good health and seems to be a bit constipated. I did bring in a fecal sample that she inspected and believed there was moss in it that could bind her up. After a dose of sub Q fluids we were on our way. Her cloaca is still swollen but she is having bowel movements that are not like cinder blocks. I was invited to bring her back on Monday if she doesn't seem to be improving. Thanks for your help

If your vet doesn't think anything is wrong then it might be time to get a 2nd opinion. Find another qualified exotic vet who has worked with chamleons for that 2nd opinion.
I would agree with Dave. My damn vet told me to gutload with dogfood. He said if it keeps dogs alive it will keep a lizard. He also said he used to keep chams. Well high protien will cause gout so this info was bad. I think I found another one that I am going to take some fecal samples to and get to know them. Its time for that anyway.
