I got about 20 cocoons so that's a good sign..... Should I keep them in an incubator or just leave them out....???

you need to be a bit less vague... what kind of cocoons, what kind of incubator, what are the temps of the incubator, what are the temps outside the incubator.

I got silkworm cocoons.
Hovabator incubator 80-82F average
room temperature about 68-70

That's about it

Are you just feeding them off as treats? NO need to be so careful, silkworm moths hatch as easy as 1-2-3 lol.

Hope you raised them on white mulberry leaves if you're planning on breeding them!

Today I found out that 19/20 cocoons had dead worms.... I don't know what the he'll happened but I do know that did it by the book.... Can a silkworm die inside the cocoon because it was sick??? I'm confused as hell with no worms in the bank..there was only ONE worm that molted and that's about it. I know this because I cut open all the cocoons and taped the good one back up. It's probably going yo die but I am with no worms now.... Could this be from the disease that killed half my worms from before??? They were all dead worms which means they died about 5 days ago..... So maybe they were infected could that be a reason???? Please give me some info people.... This is not good...

Why don't you just buy silkworms from a reptile store? You live in Toronto right? Just visit Tails and Scales at Keele/Dundas and buy them a few at a time. No need to get so complicated. How many chams do you have??

It doesn't matter how many I have... I wanna bread silkworms... I wanna see what it's like.... So I'm asking why they all died even though they all made cocoons...
