i have seen minion eat hibiscus and romaine,
but i got collard greens today and he is
like a cham posessed!
he grabs it and pulls where he seems to shake the cage!

just a funny observation.

will a jackson appreciate greens also?

Variety is the key.Veilds like Fruit&veggies with a high water content.I rarely saw mine drink on days when they ate fruit&veggies. Its one of the ways they get water when they are in the wild during the dry season. My past Veild BigNasty Would run across the room for a bit of watermelon or cantalope.Zucchini&butternut squash was also a favriot. There plants in there enclosure will last alot longer if there offered fruit&veggies every other day or so.

How are you guys actually feeding the fruits and veggies to your chams?

My 4 month old veiled is afraid of my hand and is reluctant to even cup feed. I am trying to figure out how I can position a small "plate" to put fruits and veggies on.

They dont always take to veg at an early age.

Try stabbing bits of leafy greens or fruit onto the end of a branch or toothpick mounted in the cage.

i have decided that it is worth it to me to replace a hibiscus
when i need to. it is just too much fun watching him stalking down to the basement to demolish the blooms when they happen!
plus without it he doesn't go too low in the cage, so more exercise is good!
