Collard greens!!

today was my first attempt in feeding collard greens to Chloe and I'm so happy to report she seems to like it! I cut up some small pieces and put them in her cup and she's now had several pieces. I started to add some Phoenix worms but she's chomping down the greens as is. Yay! (y)

She ate every piece. She loves strawberry and some raspberry so I'm happy to get her on some greens. She's also a huge fan of soldier flies now. I get one in my pheonix won't cup nearly everyday and she gobbles those up. I'm trying to slowly cut back on the amount she eats (she's 6 months now) not sure if that's too soon or ok.

Five to six months depending on their size is a good age to cut back the food,

This was her yesterday. She's plump but can still "skinny out" as I call it...

Thank you! She is quite stunning, in her happy green. Doesn't show as well in this pic but I think the one I sent you she was giving me the "stink eye". Lol:cautious::oops:

The royal queen is mysterious, when u expose her pic to a stranger like me,stink eye is just a lightly protest statement that she makes......she will get used to it soon.

I love the little girls. They are so sweet! I would recommend feeding every other day.
That's what I was kinda thinking, every other day. Breaks my heart to see her sitting and staring at her food cup! If I give her greens on "off days" is that ok? Or just some greens with feeders every other day?

Some greens on the off days for now should be fine.
