Colour on his face is fading to white ??

So my chameleon, Pascal, part of his head (beside his casque) is kind of looking like the colour that it used to be, which was green, is fading more of a white-ish colour. Has anyone had this happen to theirs before? is it normal? I can't of how long its been, but no more than 2 weeks. Im sorry, i tried to get pictures but it there is always a reflection and it just wont work.

My veiled is 5 months old and his casque has done the same thing, but then at times it will go back darker...maybe just something they do as they get older.

He might be getting ready to shed that would be my guess.
