Your Chameleon - Veiled chameleon, male, about 5-6 months don't really know only an estimate
Handling - almost never handle him
Feeding - crickets (currently on strike with cricket) Dubai roaches (rarely if at all now that he's older) super worms ( eats about 3 a day now) horn worms ( one a day when I have them) wax worms (1-3 a week)
Supplements - all feeders are fed greens and carrot dusted with repashy gut load and dusted with calcium without d3 every day and with d3 and multi vitamin 2 a month
Watering - big dropper dripping for about 2 hours and a auto mister mists every 3 hours for a minute everyday
Fecal Description- dark brown white urates, tested positive for worms about a week and a half ago, treating with first dose of 3 with fenbendazole and metronid
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage All screen cage, 16x16x30
Lighting - Incadescent 60w bulb, reptisun 5.0 bulb in a combo fixture and a regular 40w low heat bulb fluorescent bulb for extra lighting
Temperature - 90*f basking, 75*f towards the bottom of the cage, using 2 temp probes
Humidity - 60%-80% depending on misting, humidity probe is towards the bottom of the cage digital dual temp/hum probe, had to use a cool must humidifier to keep humidity up
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind?
Placement - in a corner of my living room, there's a ceiling fan on some days usually low, on a small stand
Location - chicago, USA

My little guys appetite has declined significantly, I keep posting to see if anyone sees anything wrong with anything I'm doing, he's been brown for about 1 1/2 months, he's extremely active up and down his cage all day, from the top to the floor. Is it normal for him to stop eating as much, his color and his constant climbing? The vet I visited on 06/29/15 said he seemed strong and ok, besides some worms, but she didn't see anything of concern.
Any tips suggestions ?
I def trust experienced keepers advice

Hmmm.. I'm not terribly experienced with parasites and such, but could he be getting ready for a shed? Don't they usually lose appetite around shed time?

It's good you're varying the bugs, but maybe it's worth varying up the gut load too.

One last thing I'd suggest is using a feeder cup that doesn't have clear sides. He could be trying to catch what's in there from the side instead of the top because he can see it from all angles.

Best of luck!

Many veileds go through a brownish color phase at this age, but his brighter adult coloration should show up soon. He may be "feeling" his hormones and acting a little preoccupied searching for more space, feeling more territorial, or is simply tired of the feeders he's used to. Try feeding him every other day. Fully grown adults don't need to eat every day and a bit of hunger gets their interest going again.

IMHO, looking at your pics I think he needs it sooner than that. He looks frustrated and cramped.

Enough said! I'm ordering that bad boy now! I was thinking about it but he stretches and contracts so much it's hard to say if he was too big, but with that said il be ordering my cage asap.

My veiled Louie is going through the same stage and he looks the exact same way... Dull brown compared to his normal pretty self. He's only eating about half as much as normal, and pacing up and down and across the bottom of the tank. He's also grouchy, but he was grouchy before...

Your guy looks great! I bet he will enjoy his new cage very much. Good luck!

Thanks, I ordered a 2x2x4 yesterday so he should be able to stretch out soon enough. ✌️

Maybe it's the picture, but his eyes look a little sunken. Is he dehydrated?

Well his poop looks super white, all he's been wanting to eat are hornworms lately, and a couple super worms here and there, I'm worried he's not getting all his nutrients with that diet. I must him in the morning and have a dropper going, I also have a reptirain going off ever 3 hours for 1 minute so I'm not sure what to think. I hope when he's in his new bigger cage his appetite and mood pick up.

Mine did the same thing!

Agree with the others about the cage upgrade and feeding every other day. My boy went through this same experience when he started wanting more space than his 16x16x30. Hunger strike, frantic climbing, and the thing that worried me the most was nose rubbing. Watch out for that! Ironically, letting him free-range around the house during this phase just made him feel more cooped up so I had to take him out more and more frequently. You are a great chameleon parent to notice these warning signs!

Hope this helps,
Sarah
