constipated gravid female

Hi,
I would like to know of there could be any link between constipated and gravid cham.
My girl (panther, 10 months old) is gravid and hasn't pooped in a week.
I gave her few small, moulted meal worms, cause I don't have any silkworms or hornworms. I also put her next to windows hoping sun shine would help (I'm not sure if rays that go trough glass helps though).
Any tips would be appreciated!

Hi, yes being gravid can cause constipation. Just be sure to keep her well hydrated. Giving her extra long mistings or even a dripper will help.

Unless you have a special glass in your windows the UVB will not pass through it.

How close to the egglaying is your female?

Yes, the two are often connected (the eggs may block letting feces out or vice versa). Make sure your cham is well hydrated, has calcium supplement, and a UVB light bulb

Thank you for your replays! She pooped the next day, and it was huge!
I'm not sure when will she lay. She was not mated, but an x-ray showed she is gravid (less ten 2 weeks ago).
I know UVB doesn't go through glass, but I wasn't sure if it was UVB that triggers constipated chams to poop.
