I have and operate a warm mist humidifier In my herp room do to the obvious helps increase temp and humidity.

I wanted to attach a tube and funnel it right ti frankies large screen enclouser through about 4 ft if pipe.

I hear people say to do it with cool mist. Does that mean warm mist would be bad? If so why?

I thought about adding a heater to my misting/rain system but from what I gather people say that warm water produces bacterial much faster then cool water.

warm mist puts out HOT steam. To have steam going directly into the cage you risk burning or scalding to your chameleon. I wouldn't recommend it. Maybe a warm mist closer to the cage, but not piped directly in.

Most warm vaporizers Produces some pretty hot air directly out of the machine. 1. The animal can not have any kind of contact with the vapro directly out of the machine.
2. Its going to raise the temps in the surrounding area. So you will need to monitor this and adjust what needs to be done.

Cool mist imo are a much better way to go. The air is not cold enough to affect temps into a danger zone.

Yea. I get that. But warm mist humidifier heats it into mist immediately.. I guess it could still be an Issue.. good thought ;)
