Cool Panther Enclosure Video [Dark Den]

Just watched an interesting video by "The Dark Den" on a new "enclosure" he built for his panther chameleon. I have never seen anyone do anything like this before, but I really like the concept. You will see why I put "enclosure" on quotes once you watch the video:

Nice. I couldn't watch the whole thing (work *eyeroll*) so I'm not sure exactly what he did for UVB... mercury bulb? I sorta skimmed through.

I'm sure his cham will be much happier. If I didn't have to worry about my cat/dog, I would have all my guys in a free range setup 100% of the time. My free ranges are setup similarly, minus the UVB and mister. The chams are much happier being out of the cage, but the barrier at the bottom is super important. Mine clips together and they learned how to scale it!

He built a wooden square that lowered a T5, and allowed it to spin in a way to change angle.

Used an Arcadia Deep heat for basking.

He needs more plants IMO, a Pothos would be great.
