I am wondering if Cooper's feet ever healed. I have been dealing with a similar problem with my Jackson's female and although it isn't infected it is very slow to heal and I am wondering if this is a good way to hurry it along a little.

Cooper’s hands did heal but he passed away shortly after due to a hole in his windpipe that couldn’t be seen until the autopsy.

I too have experienced sores with my Parsons. Not sure about jan, but my boy's healed with next to no intervention other than changing around my misting and branches. IME I noticed they happen during colder periods(brumation) when he doesn't move much at all and sits in one area that has moist branches for a long time. For a jacksons I'm sure it's a little different. Is yours moving around often? Might help to make a thread of your own and post some pictures/info on your set up. I like manuka honey for open sores/wounds. I'm sure what jan did here would help a lot too.
