Corner of eyes swollen

I recently saw a baby male veiled chameleon at petco that has slight swelling on the corner of his eyes. I reported it to the manager and they took him to the vet but even the vet wasn't 100% sure what caused it. They gave him a special type of eye drops but when i followed up with the petco manager, she said there wasn't much improvement after a week... what could this be? Fyi im not going to purchase a chameleon from petco but i really wish i could just rescue him from that horrible pet store. =(

Kinyonga is excellent with chameleons especially veileds. Hopefully she will give her opinion here or on your other thread.

here is the picture. I got him from a pet store because I felt bad for the little guy. This eye bag is a new thing though... I'm really worried. His appetite went down as well. he is about 8 months.

Thanks for the compliment Jann...but I'm no expert! Will never call myself that!

I really hate eye problems...there are too many things it can be and most never get solved completely.
I'm not the only one who has trouble figuring it out...

Could be an infection including a respiratory one...could be something stuck in it...could be a blocked tear (nasolacrimal) duct...can even be cancer in a very few cases....can be a vitamin A issue...can be the lights bothering it....it can even be a humidity issue....beginning see why I hate them?? (Since it's both eyes I would rule out cancer for sure.)

Sorry I can't tell you which none it is. :(
