Could anyone please tell me if she looks gravid?

This is my wc female xanth, Meru. I have had her since mid October, 2007 and she has been pretty fat for several months now. She is also quite a little piggy and is an amazing hunter- no hunger strikes here! She will have absolutely nothing to do with my male- I have tried about once a month since I got her and she just turns splotchy black and rocks around gaping right away. I feel bad for him and how frustrated he must be with his unrequited love

last one is just for fun since they were out and having a photo shoot anyway- excuse the messy dreads- they are usually tied back...and my pictures are usually not so blurred. I love Meru's face...Kenya is sort of trying to court her.

Most likely gravid, especially as a wc. Looks like you could still have some time before she drops the babies, but yes, I would assume she's gravid with that behavior and girth in the pics.

Thank you! I was wanting some second opinions because when we got her, she was already pudgy but had already been treated for parasites so we assumed she was gravid. That was last October. She got rather rotund about two months in and has looked like that since...I have been monitoring her, seeing if she drops, but obviously no luck so far. She is a wonderful little cham- I am just confused about the seemingly long gestation. It has been 8-9 months now and she isn't really showing changes. I have read up on neonate care and have several different cages and large kritter keepers in reserve for when she delivers- is there anything else I should know?

Also, if we are handling her and you touch her big belly, it is very firm and almost boxy. Is that normal?

Alright- is there anything that I can do to help her along in her pregnancy or to find out when she is due? Remember, we got her last October (mid?) and she hasn't mated while we have had her so it had to happen before then. Guesses? Thanks for all the help so far! Should I take her to my herp vet and have an x ray done?
