Couriered chameleon

Hi,
I'm due to receive my 4 month old panther via courier on Sunday, but he's due to arrive late in the day, around 6.30pm. He'll have been in a heating controlled vehicle, so heat wise he'd be fine.
I was wondering about lighting him/misting on the first night. Would putting his lighting on that late in the day stress him out if I was them to put it on early the next day? If I mist the cage before putting him in would that be enough, considering he's been travelling and could be dehydrated. He has a dripper but just in case he's not in the mood for exploring!
I've never couriered live stock before so any advice would be welcomed!

He's will be stressed and tired most likely. Unless he looks totally dehydrated with papery tenting skin and sunken casque, I think I'd mist his setup to raise the humidity level, then put him in, leave the lights off and let him sleep for the night. Start your routine the next day.
