cricket bite

hi,

i was woundering if someone can help me, a cricket has just bit my cham, he has just shed his skin & one of the little gits bit hm on the leg, leaving a red mark, all the shoos are closed today so i cant get any cram untill they open agian tomorrow.

is there anything else i can use to put on the wound.

you dont want to put anything on the bite, just wait and in time it will heal, if it starts to get infected then you may need to see a vet
 
How do you know it is a cricket bite? can you post a picture? Also try not to leave any crickets loose in the habitat and keep your crickets well fed.

I don't like the sound of "Red mark."
Usually, if it's a cricket bite, it will subside soon provided that you have clean enclosure and healthy cham.
 
i saw the cricket do it.

i cant post any pic's as my camera wont pair with my computer (very anoying)

the mark looks much better this morning & he seems happy
 
I am glad to hear he is doing well. You should keep a close eye out and watch it to see if it gets infected. Also make sure there are no other loose crickets in his cage. You can try cup feeding it seems to work well with plenty of people on this forum.
