Cricket Container

OK, so I built my own cricket container(large plastic tubs) that allows all poo to drop into another plastic tub. My question is can I put clear plastic tape along the bottom/sides so the crickets can not climb up all over the cage? I did not think they would be able to climb up the plastic. The last thing I want to do is open up my container with 500 crickets on the lid to jump out everywhere.

Well really don't have to do much because they can't grip just regular plastic. The way I have mine is a knife used to carve the walls so they can climb up. Upload a picture so we can see what it looks like?

They are rubbernaid tuds like from walmart. They do climb up them, I sat and watched one do it.

The tape should work, as long as they don't eat it.

Clear packing tape does work. They aren't able to climb on the clear containers. If you happen to have a rough surface/non clear container that they tend to climb on, you can put clear packing tape around the rim inside. Works like a charm.
