Cricket Dusting.

I have a very young male veiled chameleon. He is about 1 to 2 months old. I keep reading I need to feed him 15 to 20 crickets a day for the first 6 months, but how many of those do I need to dust with the calcium every day? I have calcium without D3 and reptivite with d3. Do I need anything else to supplement him with? Also do I feed him 10 in the morning and 10 before bed or all 20 in the morning?

Since every cricket would have a poor ratio of calcium to phosphorous wouldn't it make sense to dust them all before feeding them to your chameleon??

The reason why I ask is because some of the things I have read said dust a few. The other things I have read said dust them all. So I figured I would ask those who have been doing this for a long time and I can be giving a better answer.

Dust them all Everyday switch between D3 , Without D3, and multivitamin. (Multivitamin Once a week)

I dust at almost all feedings with phosphorous-free calcium powder... Twice a month with phosphorous-free calcium/D3 powder and twice a month with a vitamin powder that has a beta carotene prOformed source of vitamin A. Once in a while you can use a vitamin powder that contains a prEformed source of vitamin A... I don't but some people do.

Its Important to provide appropriate basking temperatures and to feed/gutload the insects properly too.
