Cricket Farm in New England

For those of you in NH, Maine, VT, MA and surrounding area...In case you haven't heard the news there is a new guy in town - Franklin, NH to be exact. Crazy Carl's Cricket Farm. He has gotten a lot of press on radio and TV locally. I know there are not a lot of chamkeeper her in NE (and they are restricted in MA and ME - not that that keeps some folks from keeping them anyway ;)). I have not ordered from him yet and may make the trip to his farm at some point. Would be interested to hear of anyone's experience. It looks like he only delivers to the Northeast, nice to have our own supplier up here since it can be tough to get a healthy supply in the winter months.

Thanks for the info

Chronicle did a lengthy segment on him and showed his facility - looked good. chamlover had another thread on this (I didn't realize it at when I posted this) and she had gone to see it.

I don't know if he'll be at the show next month, but he may well, in order to get himself out there. Did you go to the October show? I didn't so don't know. Give him a call or go to the show home swebite and see if he is listed as a vendor.

I know there are MA keepers - promise I won't tell

I went on www.reptileexpo.com and noticed he is on the vendor list. I did go to the October show (First Show Ever)(I got my bearded dragon that day) but I dont remember seeing Crazy Carls. I bought crickets from Cold Bloods for $8.50 per 1000 but I think the count was way lower and it had a bunch of other bugs in it. I will definitely buy from Crazy Carls if his product looks as good as it sounds on his site. Are you going to the April show?
