Cricket maintenance food?

I use orange cubes from flukers, its convenient because it is suppose to be hydration and food all in one. I know a lot of people on here use Cricket crack. Seems to be very popular, just have to have a source of water for them.

yes i use cricket crack also to gutload although i am looking for something inexpensive to just keep them alive and healthy.

I use the orange Fluckers cubes too. They are cheap for when you are just trying to keep them alive. Thats what Im feeding my new cricket hatchlings right now. They are way to small for my cham and I dont want to waste good gutload on them at this time.

Hope this helps:)

For my roaches and crix I use a combo of chick and lamb food from tractor supply.....I also live in Missouri and we have tractor supply all over! Not sure if they have that where you are. About a week or two before I feed them off, I move them to another bin and gutload them

When my chameleon liked crickets (he refuses them now) I used actual slices of orange for hydration. Also, used, collard greens, kale, romaine,(dark green veggies) apples, carrots, cantalope, mangos etc. Remember your feeders are what they eat!!

Thats perfect, another solution for hydrating them would be to mist them lightly once a day not too wet. This has worked for me all the time along with the fruits and veggies.

I never mist them but provide them with greens, etc.

I feed my crickets, superworms, etc. the same things that I gutload them with....greens and veggies.

I feed my crickets dandelion, carrot, squash, sunflower seeds, etc. - they are always eating good gutload foods. Its not like this stuff is expensive. I never provide water - they get what they need via the fruit and veg
