Cricket question

This morning i was throwing some crickets into a cup for feeding time and shortly after i noticed one had only one "jumping" leg...sometimes the crickets jump out of the cup but this one cant...

My point is is it possible/good to cut one of the crickets jumping legs to keep them in the cup so my Chameleon can find them easier?

I do have a few free roaming, my male veiled seems to enjoy the hunt every now and then.

if you have the time to do it, i say go ahead.
Mainly for the reason so that they won't jump out of the cup.
As far as making it easier for your chameleon to hunt, I don't think it matters much.
Chameleons are avid hunters. Trust me, they know where the crickets are.

it is easy to do. i cupfeed and i do not have a cricket proof enclosure. so each time i get crix i'll catch one, pinch one hopping leg off and drop it into one of the shake'n'bake ziplocks full of supplement. i also make sure to put greens in the cup to ensure gutloaded/live crix for the whole day.
