Cricket shipment--cold weather experiences???

Most tired of this Iowa winter. Am also tiring of buying crickets three dozen at a time. Expensive too.

Anyone have experience with any vendor shipping crickets in very low temps? Have to hold out until temps get above freezing again. Recommendations?

Yes jus got 250 in a couple of minutes ago from cricketsonline.com (top hat crickets) they are in michigan and they do winter packaging for two buck you get a heat back and double boxes. I was satisfied they even threw in some extra egg cartons. Yes the petshops suck for crickets I've been doing the petsmart thing and having to throw out half the crickets I've gotten because they're too big for my baby.

i have a rubermaid tote heating pad in bottom with hampster bedding lightly mist it once a day add 20 adult crickets in no time you will have more crickets than you can handel.
