My female chameleon is 10 weeks old now. The problem I am having is the pet store in the town where I live only hve 4 and 5 week old crickets. Are these to big for Cammy? She has been eating about 4 to 5 of them a day. Should she be llooking fat or lean?

They sound a bit big for your little guy. A good judge of cricket size is no longer than the space between your chameleon's eyes.

Mine are also eating bigger size crickets...what can happen if they eat bigger insects? I mean, isn't that why they have such a big mouth?

Excessively large food items can cause impaction - a blockage in the digestive tract. This is a very serious condition. It is best to feed your chameleon(s) the recommended size of food items and to keep your chams well hydrated.

I just dumped the medium crickets in the garden, and went back to smaller ones. Once I got them home, I realized that I over estimated !!!
