im using collard and mustard greens with some pinapple slices in there also. i have been using up some flukers cricket food with calcium that my girlfriend bought me as a present (bless her heart for trying to get me something not totally horrible). i was wondering what would be a better idea? quality wise and economicy better for your crickets?

how much should i feed my 6 month old? i give him about 6-9 med-large crickets a day. is that enough?

also now that i got a tuppleware lid to put my powdered food in compated to the ceramic dish that was like 2 inches high i noticed it gets eaten like 5 times as fast. also i have twice as many crickets this time but i think it could be because they can reach it.

I've never used that product for feeding crickets so I can't tell you if its any good or not...I use a wide variety or greens (dandelion, escarole, endive, collards, kale, mustard greens, etc.) and veggies (carrot, sweet potato, squash, zucchini, sweet red pepper, etc.)...seems to work well.

For my crickets i give them a half peeled apple, fluckers orange cubes, and fluckers dry cricket food and fluckers water crystals. Every other day i throw in a peice of spinach or carrot. I have a low mortality rate on them and they always have a bright orange belly.

I use cricketfood.com's premium blend and the crickets love it. I love it too. I just don't have the time to put in fresh veggies everyday for the crickets. This way i dont really mess with them except for when I get them out to feed them to my cham. Every other day I will throw in some flukers cubes for hydrating, and that is it. The cricketfood last about a week in there. Granted I only keep 80 crickets or so in my container, which last me 5-7 days.

how much lasts you a week. one lb of the cricket food or less? if they go threw it that fast it doesnt seem worth it to get it.
