crickets and worms

Has anyone ever had trouble with getting their chams to eat crickets after worms were introduced? I have heard it is hard. But i had to feed my 3 month old a couple of mealworms cause he wasnt eating anything and he was dehydrated and sick. Should i stay away from worms or do u guys use both without a problem? THanks

Some worms are better than others. Try and limit mealworms/waxworms. But Phoenix worms/silkworms are good as a staple food.

Butterworms are also good, nutritionally. My cham won't eat anything worm-like though, so can't comment on the crix thing.

so far ive only fed mine wax worms and crix. I havnt seen too much of a preference other than he will eat more wax worms in a row than crix.
