Crickets bin for egg laying

hello, I'm built a cricket barn in hope to have eggs. I'm new to this and hoping to get advices.
Have two bin with eco earth soil and for the rest its Eco earth with reptile barks.
Wondering if they needs heat and how should I provide it.
Also do I need to wet the soil? I started off with 70 large crickets, going get 100 more tomorrow.
I spray painted the outside because my wife hates seeing them.
How will I know when they laying eggs ?

I use a deli cup with moist garden soil and a screen on top for cricket eggs. Just put the deli cup in the cricket bin and the mature females will lay their eggs in it. Then, after a week I put the deli cup in a cricket keeper and keep it @ 80f. And the baby crickets hatch out in about 10- 14 days.
