Crickets

I just got a male veiled cham that is approx. 4 months old. I have tried putting in a little cup with crickets in it and he won't eat the crickets from it. If I let the crickets go in his cage he will chase them and try to eat them but I would prefer to use a dish since the cage is pretty big and it might be hard for him to catch all of them if I just let them go. Is there any way I can get him to start eating them from the dish?

mine used to only eat if i let crix run around. one day i put some in a clean jar and held it up to her. she did it. then i put crix in a small flower pot (Empty) and she ate them.
you could not feed him the whole day, but have a cup of crix in its cage and he might go and eat them.

Thanks for the advice. So basically you're saying that if I leave a cup in there long enough, he'll eventually eat out of it?
