9 months and 9 days later, the first one pipped.
It took about 48 hours for 10 out of 11 to emerge. Right out of the egg, they have no problem gaping, biting me (well, 2 did), or hurling the stink eye.
This one in particular fell over as soon as I lifted the incubator lid, with handfuls of vermiculite. I think he was getting ready to throw some at me.
Now for some cute ones:
These guys are so cool. So much colour and too much attitude right after hatching.
