Critter Keeper for Egg?

Timeless Storm

Hello, I'm new to keeping reptiles and recently purchased a panther chameleon egg at a Reptile and Exotic Animal Show.

I have one of those critter keepers and was wondering if it would be okay to keep the egg in it, if it would help maintain humidity or anything. My thought is I would put the egg as it is in the critter keeper and not remove it from either container that it's in. I know that could be detrimental.

I currently have the egg in a cupboard where the temp stays around 74°F with a humidity of 59%.

I have added pictures of the egg and the critter keeper.

Yep. Just leave the egg as it is in it's tub with the sponges, and follow the directions to keep them moist. A dark closet will give you the most success. (light negatively affects germination rates) When it gets close to hatch, take a good look daily.
My guy is a year old now from an egg I bought. Good luck and I hope you will adequately prepare with the time you have.
