Cup feeding

I have never had that great of luck with the whole "cup feeding" concept with my chameleons - either they just don't eat from it or the crickets/feeders manage to escape. I'm wondering what type of container can be used to prevent the escapes and how can you present the dish to the chameleon in a manner that they will find interesting?

As far as crickets/roaches, I let them free roam. But as for worms, I tied an empty Phoenix worm cup under my chams basking spot. He will easily see them squirming around as he lays there and eats easily every morning there. I really just cup feed worms as they don't really escape

you can use any cup but i did have a problem with them jumping out so i got a 3-4 inch tall cup that has a 3 inch radius and i just rip the back legs off of the crickets so they can not jump. depending on how old the crickets and how big they are you might only have to do one leg or two. im sure it hurts them but im sure it hurts them when they get chomped on by your cham. they are food not friends. as long as you give them their last meal you are free of guilt.
