Cup Method - Anyone do This?

Well when I had panthers and Veild's I put a see through cup attached to the side of the cage by a branch where he would come down and grab a few crickets. He was trained to that really well.

I also put the Calcium on the bottom so the crickets would be mixed in it.

Has anyone done this before?

This method is used quite a bit. The only thing i would recommend is using a solid colored cup. If your chameleon can see through the side of the cup he or she may try to shoot the insects through the side or bottom and cause a lot of frustration at best and injure the tongue at worst.

o ok,
they did do that sometimes..because the setup I plan on using is different from my previous one. I have bark and vines etc,
while this time (thanks for the information from this forum) I am putting napkins and a plant (Ficus, and maybe another one) in a pot with vines etc throughout the cage.

I have a similar setup to the link from Hempa. I placed some fake vines around it so it doesn't look like a cut up milk jug in the cage. Godzilla is by it every morning waiting for breakfast.
