can someone please lead me in the right direction as to where i can purchase something locally. i would assume home depot has what i need. any tips from someone who has been where i am at.

thanks

Just go to Home Depot and get a drain bulkhead. Drill a hole in the tray, put the bulkhead on, stick a piece of plastic tubing on the bulkhead, and put the other end in a drainage container ;)

i wouldnt put a drain in the side of it, I would put in in the center and drain out like bunny said into a bucket or something via a sink drain from lowes.

Here is what I do with the same trays https://www.chameleonforums.com/cage-drainage-system-61692/

And Here is a video that shows more of how it is all hooked up...let me know if you have any questions

totally disregard the intro...stupid Imovie, or at least the person running imovie

GREAT VIDEO.

that is exactly how i pretty much had it in mind i just didnt know what to purchase. seen the link of how u put it together will go get these parts asap. thanks!

I have the other stuff in the link to an old write up I did on it. Here is the one thing you really need...I have found a different part that has three in one bag but I don't know the code on that one...I use zap-a-gap to glue it in the corner but its not fool proof if you push too hard you can brake free the glue. Also you don't want the hole too big so using a reamer like I showed and checking for tight fit often works really well...drill bits will make a mess! Also use the reamer to put 6 more holes in the corner brace so that if one hole gets clogged you have other paths for the water to go ;)

Then for pipping I think its 3/8" but the tubing is in the same place at Lowe's so just find some that is a tight fit over the bung...hose clamps would not be a bad safety measure that is for sure ;)

This looks to be a fantastic product!!! what are the dimensions on it? also could someone post a link to it for me. i searched thier web page for a good half hour last night and could not find this drain tray. Deff. going to need one!!!

The pipe I use is 1/2" OD and 3/8" ID And like I said before using hose clamps would be a smart idea even though the fit on these bungs is very tight.
