Nice! I did something similar and am very glad - my only advice when doing the front, make sure that one of the cross pieces isn't exactly at your eye level! I didn't realize I had done View attachment 170428View attachment 170429

Just regular paint. It was on the returns shelf at the local hardware store so was a whooping $2.00. The screen is all on the inside so they cant chee it or anything. What kind of paint did you use?
How do you even attach the screen to the frame?
Thank youStaple it to the wood
I would use a water sealant for things like deck's and dock's give plenty of time to cure then paint over it as long as your cham is not eating the enclosure there will be no problem with itThe guy at reptile store said i should not paint the cage. Does the wood need waterproofing or will it be fine the way it is. I have a mistking that will go off several times a day.

It's up 2 you do you want a enclosure that will last the life span of one cham (just paint could last 3-5years ) or one that could last 6-10 year's (water lock then paint)Did you just use paint or did you waterproof also? I already bought some zero voc low odor paint.
