Finally got round to taking some snaps of my two Damaranum.
Besides for the far left (slightly excited) these are their relaxed colours.
You'll notice in the pic on the far right that they sometimes get this chunky polar-neck look when they hang down at certain angles.
She is also doing her horizontal compression to flatten her body against the tree.
In the wild I've noticed that by doing this and constantly shifting around so they are on the opposite side from you they can make them selves very hard to find.
They tend to spend a lot of the day in this position but will always climb out to the end of a branch to sleep.
You can get a pretty good idea of where to start looking for them depending on the time of day, temperature and how windy it is.
