Day 1 with my juvi veiled (and long awaited pics!)

He's naturally very shy and getting used to his new home. I'm very happy he ate a dozen ish small crickets and I caught him basking. I haven't witnessed him drinking but I've been misting heavily, letting the enclosure dry out entirely in between, and I have a dripper going.... so he better be drinking dangit! Every time I walk in the room I manage to snap a shot before he runs and hides. I'm assuming this is totally normal with it being day 1 with him. He doesn't like mistings, but that could be him getting used to it, getting settled into his new home, or both haha.

Temp and humidity levels look great. His color looked so much happier when he was out basking.

Haha thanks! I was so happy to see a healthy poo and healthy white urate today too. I never thought I'd be able to find and see all of these signs on day one, so it's helping me ease my worries, especially since they're so shy at first and he runs and and hides as soon as he realizes I'm in the room.
