Deformed Dubia Roach

I've bee looking at my Roach bin and noticed that I have a deformed male dubia. He's wings are screwed up and he's not the normal color. Its like he's a silver color. Will he be alright or do I need to feed him off?

These are known as the silverback gorilla roach...he just had a bad molt.

It could also be due to others eating his wings. If they are low on food or protein they will eat the males wings.

If he is silver, I would think he just hasnt pumped out his wings all the way and has yet to harden. My chameleons LOVE freshly molted (soft/white/grey) adult males.

He molted into deformed wings and has been the same color since then and its been a week lol

Yeah. Then he just had a bad molt. I usually feed them off. I've seen some of the other roaches pick on the deformed ones before.

I barely have that many roaches I dont think it was overpopulation

I've had it happen every once in a while in hardly populated bins. One bad molt doesn't mean you are doing anything wrong.
