Dehydrated ?

My veild has been drinking off leaves ALOT Today! what I mean is he literally been trying to drink off dry leaves
I have been spraying normally like 4-5 times a day but he doesn't act like he is dehydrated, today he is suddenly really thirsty why is this?

every other day I see him drinking normally he looks fine but he drank perfectly fine yesterday but now he is suddenly thirsty trying lick all the leaves for water

Ok, if that is the case give him more water. It's been hot here lately where I live, and I am sure my guy is drinking more. I have a misting system so it's not a concern for me. Keep an eye on his urates.

Aside from the licking does he show any other signs of dehydration? Such as sunken eyes or yellow/orange urates?

If he wants to drink, let him drink. As long as he isn't showing any health issues and you're just seeing him drink a lot he should be fine.

I will check for urates tomorrow and his eyes look fine
