Dental Hygiene

Lately been reading lots articles regarding oral dental hygiene inside chameleon mouth.
These chameleon been eating all sorts of feeder into their mouth. Tongue shoot, bite and chew in their daily routine...
The most common types of dental disease are tooth decay (cavities, dental caries) and gum diseases, including gingivitis, and periodontitis even mouth rot.
Any thoughts? Cleaning,bad breath, prevents,diseases and cure......etc??

I always kill big feeders even if they're appropriate size when I hand feed to make sure that Apollo doesn't get bitten and develop mouth rot

I thought u are going to make appointment with me and bring in the junior for examine .....say Ahhh n open wide...
Now have u really looking into their teeth I really recommend to take a look closely for any discoloration.

Oh he's always showing me his teeth! Grumpy butt! He likes to show me who's in charge of I get to close.

Ok great now take a deeper look in there if there is no discoloration then u walk away with a clean bill but do look into the back side I hope is all well for ur cham.

U can use a qTip n slid gently in between his mouth , u might want someone in the family to help u n take a real look in his mouth...prevention is always better then curing the disease.

That's cool! My mom has a ton of records but she never plays them. My grandpa always did though but they were like old songs..
I loved it when I was little. It was our "game" together. I would sit on the arm of his big chair next to him and we would sing together.
