Deremensis breeding attempts

Hello,
This past weekend I tried breeding my pair of Trioceros deremensis. Unfortunately the female did not seem very receptive. I moved the male into the females enclosure. They were fine at first, however, the female began mouth gaping at him and he hid in the corner. Going to give it a few more go's before the end of the season but so far no luck.

Additionally, how long you you guys leave them in together? I've only been doing 1 or so long attempts as to not stress them out too much.

I only bred Deremensis once and had eggs and hatchlings once...and it's been along while...but here's what I remember...the breeding season was in the fall (Oct. to Nov.) and the eggs were laid about 4 months later. Incubation was about 4 months too...so eggs hatch around June.

The females are picky about laying sites.
The males lips are quite red when they are interested in breeding.

Hope this helps.
