Did I purchase a sick chameleon?

I came across a website that was selling a Female Ambilobe panther chameleon. I liked the price and everything seemed good so I bought her. She came this morning.
Right away she seemed extremely thirsty! We gave her some water, and soon after she started drooling. I’ve never seen this before! When I purchased my male, Lucas, he was perfect & has been striving ever since. I am freaking out, i put her in her cage, misted her & she’s still licking the leafs and mesh. I automatically though it was a sign of a URI. Has anyone experienced this before ? I texted the number on the website and they replied saying it was due to the heating pad, and her being shipped and stuff. What do y’all think?

Keep giving her water, could you post a pic and fill out the ask for help form, please?

What website?

Sounds like they already know to expect problems from the way they ship their anamals. For them to answer like that makes me think they get that complaint a lot.

How long was she in the box?

You know what to do, hydrate, hydrate, hydrate! Good luck!

Mistking is set up already, was just setting up the cages in the pictures.

By the looks of her she is healthy. Her eyes are not sucken in and looks to have good weight. The first thing I would do get some plants in the cage. She looks stressed, probably due to lack of plants and foliage. Is she eating?

Yes, she ate some crickets this morning & there’s an umbrella plant in the middle inside a huge 12in pot with top soil, for “just in Incase.” And croutons on the dragon ledges. She will be getting a pothos soon, I just got her today.

@Lucasthecham you have been a member long enough to know better. You know that all three of those vivs don’t even come close to meeting the minimum requirements of housing a Cham. Even if there is a umbrella tree not pictured.

I know you don’t think you need to fill out the form but based on the pics you posted you absolutely do whether you know it or not.[/QUOTE]

): I hope you don’t think they’re empty! I had just gotten home that day & had set up my chams medium cage really quick, so he can be in there while I set up his new enclosure.

Yes it’s different lol
Also I had another question, do y’all think she’s really 9-10months. She looks to small for 9months..?

So she pooped on me but I noticed how yellow her pee is. No wonder she was so thirsty..! Glad She’s been drinking so much these past two days. : )
