difference between green hornworms and blue/teal hornworms?

I honestly think there isn't a difference. But, I'd go for green! I have heard that the color green is quite appealing to the chameleon.

OK just asking cause I normally buy my hornworms from TikiTiki but haven't heard from them reguarding my PM so I went with another place that had 4 cups with 30 worms in it for $34 and I got the blue ones from them instead of the normal green ones I get from TikiTiki.

I think the blue ones look cool. My chams love them just as much as the green ones.

Make sure you keep the cups away from moisture. Not sure why it happened but I bought two blue worm cups and two green worm cups. In a couple of days the blue worm chow molded over.

I'm keeping them on top of the cham cage by the heat lamp. They are pretty small right now which is perfect for my 3 month old panther but my witchy veild won't touch them that small

not to thread hijack.

but we got hornworms out here a bit more up north, but they have your typical green hornworms, and then i have seen ones that look exactly the same but red...

anyone know if there is something goin on with these ones?

What kind of plant are they on?

I would guess they have been eating red peppers or tomatoes or a different type of worm. not sure?

ill see if i can get photos. they're up in payson, which for me is about a 2 hour drive...i figure i could catch some, let htem go to crystalis...the green ones that is, and then hopefully try to breed them. but i unfortunatly, i have not the slightest clue as to how to go about that.
