Difference between humidifier and fogger

What’s the difference between a household humidifier and a reptile fogger? I’d like to try fogging but reptile foggers are expensive and I already have a small humidifier at my home I can put on a timer next to his cage. Any information appreciated.

Foggers produce cool air , some humidifiers produce warm air ( not recommended) unless you are 110 percent sure and get clarification on ir I would not recommend or use
