Hi
My female veiled layed 42 beautiful white eggs yesterday and today in the morning i found her digging again... -.-'

She looks healthy, very skinny (i think it is impossible to have eggs inside her), she drank a lot of water yesterday but she didn't eat...

i dont wan't to take her to the vet to xray because i don't want her to stress and she looks strong and she keeps digging... she never saw me when was laying her eggs...

What do you think about it?
is it normal to keep digging?
what can i do?
Thanks everyone for reading

My female veiled, Lily, did this too. With both cutches I didn't remove the laying bin right after laying as she finished late at night. And, both times, she was back down and shifting the dirt again the following morning. I don't know whether she could smell the eggs and thought that she needed to cover them more, or what. Her 'digging reflex' was also still very strong and it seemed like her legs were still in dig mode rather than climbing mode. Took her a while to get back to normal walking after her second clutch. They sure are amazing creatures.

Hi Miss Lily,
Thanks for the reply, at this moment she ate like 20 crickets, looks great, and is under her basking spot, i removed the laying bin and try to find more eggs but i didn't, i put it back just in case she needs it...

Perhaps she laid 42 eggs and still has a couple left in her? Hard to tell sometimes.
