i noticed one of my brevs had some dirt in his eye so i put a couple water droplets on the eye and it looked as if itflushed out the dirt, then he cleaned that eye when they like make them bulge out and and he was rubbing it on a leaf and now he has that eye partially closed, did he hurt the eye or is some dirt still in there?

His eye might have gotten irritated from the dirt. Try flushing it a few more times over the next day or so.

okay i'll do that but im pretty sure he got it from digging in the substrate in their cage and now he's digging again!

and i'm sure its a male so its not a female and not gravid

I would flush the eye a few more times. Are you positive its a male? If so maybe he's digging to find food? I'm not sure.

Myabe he's just wants to dig. You could look into getting a substrate thats not small enough to get into their eyes.

I've seen males and females of Rhampholeon uluguruensis and nchisienses bury themselves to cool off when ambient temperatures get too high. Perhaps double check your temps with a good thermometer while you are at it.

Cheers,

thats a good idea trace, i usually have a thermometer in there and its always right around 75 but i'll try to cool it off a little and see how that works
