Do Chameleon's enjoy listening to rain forest music?

I am a new chameleon owner and I am just wondering if they enjoy listening to music, like rain forest music and what not. I don't really know if he likes it and he doesn't show any signs he dislikes it. Am I just wasting my time though?

Chameleon Info:
• Your Chameleon - Veiled, Male, infant can't be more than a few months.
• Handling - I just recently got him in the past couple days so I try not to handle him to much.
• Feeding - I buy gut-loaded crickets from a local vet. I don't really know their process of gut-loading though.
• Supplements - Zoo Med's Reptivite with D3
• Watering - I mist in the morning about half hour after turning the lights on and him waking up and then an hour before I turn the lights off at night. I also do an ice cube trip on the cage to create some ambient moisture. I do see him drink.
• Fecal Description - Mostly brownish-green, only had him for a couple days so I haven't seen his fecal matter that much.

anything that makes you feel better is good.
from my reading the hearing senses vibration
so he may not know the diff.

maybe someone will know more...

Oh okay, thank you! I wasn't sure if it made them feel more at home. I guess I never researched how they hear. Thanks!

Happy New Years!

That's true - they pick up on vibrations. I talk to my crew, but always in a soothing voice so they get good vibrations :D

Yeah, they quite clearly have no external ears so whether it's rainforest sounds or the latest chart hit it probably won't get any reaction from him :)
Nobody knows for certain how much they pick up in the way of vibrations, so those of us who occasionally talk to them are allowed to kid ourselves.........:D
Here's a great all-round caresheet I recommend to all new people with Veileds - https://www.chameleonforums.com/blogs/chameleonsinmyhouse/395-veiled-chameleon-care-sheet.html
