I think their a lot of avenues not materialized yet. You have Veileds and Panther chameleon dominating the market. Those two species require large housing. Not cheap.
Then theirs the smaller chameleons not gaining the traction of all sorts of Pygmy chameleons and the Carpet chameleon. Those groups do not require huge setup. They will be expensive if you want to create a lavish terrarium for them though.
