do I need an egg laying bin?

Hi, I am a brand new Chameleon owner and have had my 5 month old female veiled chameleon for about 2 weeks now. She seems to be doing quite well - aside from being very grumpy - thus we never handle her. She is eating super worms now and I have dubia roaches on the way to change it up.
My question is - does she need an egg laying bin or no? I don't plan on breeding her and i don't want her to lay eggs due to calcium loss - so I don't want to encourage it. Will she lay eggs regardless of having a place to lay them?

yes it is recommended that you have a laying bin set up for females at all times after they hit about 4 months of age. they will lay eggs without ever even seeing a male and if she doesn't have the proper place to lay them she could become egg bound and die
